The course is where your real journey starts. Heavily wooded perimeters make each hole play out to its own stage, no sounds to hear except nature, no traffic to deal with here other than the occasional deer, squirrel or turkey. Elevation changes go on throughout the entire 18 holes. There are also several holes in which water comes into play. The course is very player friendly with flat lies in landing areas and several tee boxes for all levels of players.

Driving directions: From Grand Rapids take US-131 north to exit 101 (M-57). East on M-57 11 miles to Lincoln Lake Ave.; left (north) on Lincoln Lake Ave. 5 miles until road bends right (east) to 19-Mile Rd., continue on 19-Mile Rd. 2.5 miles to Johnson Rd.; turn left (north) 1.5 miles to Brookside entrance.
